Merry Christmas!

To all my blogging friends and readers,

I wish each of you a wonderful Christmas spent in love and peace, granting you your heart's desire.

Lots of love,
Izar

Here's a poem by my favorite poet which, though it was written almost two centuries ago, still rings true these days.

Lord Alfred Tennyson
Ring Out, Wild Bells

Ring out, wild bells, to the wild sky,
The flying cloud, the frosty light;
The year is dying in the night;
Ring out, wild bells, and let him die.

Ring out the old, ring in the new,
Ring, happy bells, across the snow:
The year is going, let him go;
Ring out the false, ring in the true.

Ring out the grief that saps the mind,
For those that here we see no more,
Ring out the feud of rich and poor,
Ring in redress to all mankind.

Ring out a slowly dying cause,
And ancient forms of party strife;
Ring in the nobler modes of life,
With sweeter manners, purer laws.

Ring out the want, the care the sin,
The faithless coldness of the times;
Ring out, ring out my mournful rhymes,
But ring the fuller minstrel in.

Ring out false pride in place and blood,
The civic slander and the spite;
Ring in the love of truth and right,
Ring in the common love of good.

Ring out old shapes of foul disease,
Ring out the narrowing lust of gold;
Ring out the thousand wars of old,
Ring in the thousand years of peace.

Ring in the valiant man and free,
The larger heart, the kindlier hand;
Ring out the darkness of the land,
Ring in the Christ that is to be.

Izar my sweetheart,
Hope you're having a happy Xmas time.

It was a year ago that I saw that drawing you made the "Christmas Waltz" and felt in love....
Well, let me tell you that it has been a pleasure to meet you.

All the best to you and your beloved ones

Love
xoxo

Hi Seeker!

Yes, I remember, and I'm so happy too that we met. ^_^

Wishing you the same,
Izar

Hello Izar!

Hope you spent some good days with your family+friends.

I love the poem too and the shape of it! The message sort of reminds me of what my yoga teacher says..breathe in the new, breathe out the old etc.

I'm not sure if you saw my recent invite to all bloggers to join in for Favorite Things but I would love for you to join. I think you would add something amazing and unique to it. Please think about it! :)

Yup, it was great. ^_^

We often hear the same things from different sources, and I have a hunch that both your yoga master and Tennyson are very wise people who are worth listening to. :-)

I'll definitely participate as I do so love to read other people's lists too: it's a lot of fun.

xoxo
Izar
